Optishell Technologies is an Israeli Electro-optics company.
Optishell is focusing on technologies in the area of movie's piracy :
- Illegal camcording. Advanced methods to detect a camcorder in a theatre and also to prevent the detected camcording.
- Tickets Piracy. Count how many people are located inside the theatre at each moment during the film.
The main technologies developed by Optishell are the ROSE100 and ROSE200.
Products
The ROSE100 technology was developed in order to identify and prevent illegal recording of films projected in cinema theatres by pirates.
The system consists of a detection head that is located near the screen.
The detection head detects pirates that are trying to record the film with video camcorder , camera cell phone or similar within a few minutes.
The system was developed with the support and funding of Motion Picture Laboratories Inc. (Palo Alto, CA)
